VHS to DVD Opening screen ( Home) Unreadable

Just installed Easy VHS to DVD today. Running XP ser pack 3. When I click on the Icon and the home page opens, I get a screen hardly legible. The Left side of the screen is clear as a bell. I am able to partly see the Icons on the Home page and can read the writing below the icon (not clearly). When I click on any of those icons I am able to move to a new screen or new program and then works normal. Has anyone experienced this? Very annoying

Video Card SiS 760 Updated drivers short time ago resolution running 1280 X 800 true color 32 bit 60hrz. Tried setting to 1680 X 1050 no change. What I find so strange is that the home page is partly visable, once into the programs every thing is OK.

Support now tells me that The SiS760 is not a true Video card it is a motherboard/onboard video adapter. Why is it Roxio easy VHS to DVD the only software I have had any problem with?

Here is what I am seeing:

One the Home screen on the left hand side there is a bar about 2'' wide , on this bar there is HOME, VIDEO MOVIES, and MUSIC AUDIO and all are very clear. To the right there are 7 Icons?. top 4 Plug&Burn, Create Labels, Burn Audio CD's and Burn MP3 CD's are not ledgable but you can read the writing (description) below On the bottom row there are 3 Icons 1st one is a large down arrow (Capture Video). The arrow is very clear but the writing is not crisp. The last 2 icons Create DVD's and Digitize LP's and Tapes are the same as the top ones .

At the bottom there is a bar saying" Capture video from old VHS tapes & preserve it on DVD. Get the Roxio capture USB Divice Here. This is clear as can be.

On the Home screen when choosing Video Movies or Music Audio the next screen is fuzzy or blurry.

I have updated driver for my Video card but have not yet tried another intall.

 

In any of the screens HOME, VIDEO MOVIES or MUSIC AUDIO once I click on the Icons the selected program loads and is very clear

 

I cannot see why on the main screen some of it is very clear and the other is very poor

I wish I could post a view of the screen to better explain waht I am getting.

Borrowed a GeForce 6200 card installed and my problem was fixed. Now I hope I can get the end product that I installed the program for. Thanks for your help.

I am sure I will have some "How To" questions in the future

Never heard of such a thing with any Roxio product

 

Your home app consists of 3 tab – Home; Video-Movies & Music-Audio

 

Are all 3 blurry?

 

There are 2 suspects…

 

Your Video Card or your Program Files.

 

Make sure your drivers have been updated for your Video Card.

 

For the files you could try another install over this one before doing a full Clean Install process.

One question, in addition to Jim's question. What screen resolution are you running? Does it meet the minimum resolution requirement of the software?
