How can I get the emailed special of Creator 2010 with the free video capture cable for the upgrade price of $69.99? I bought Roxio preloaded on my new Dell.

If you quality, this is the information. If you got the OEM (free version) you may not qualify. If you have the OEM version, your computer manufacturer may have a special for you.

If I were you, I would call Roxio sales to see what you can quality for instead of taking a chance.

Our representatives are here to answer any pre-sales questions you may have. Please call 1-877-793-7480 (Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., EST - excluding Roxio holidays) ."

There was a 3 to 4 day period, where the USB capture device was free, with the purchase of Creator 2010 or Creator 2010 Pro, but you paid the full price for the software.

That "special" ended yesterday.

The Costco Coupon book that arrived today has an in store or on-line $25 off coupon for Creator 2010 with the USB device. That takes it down about $55.

Costco has a C2010 edition that includes the Roxio Video Capture USB device. Check this out.

The OP should be aware that you have to be a member of Costco ($50/yr. minimum), and if you aren't, you will get socked with a big fee at checkout, even if you purchase the membership card, in the order.

I just went down that road, and cancelled out of the order. :)

Fantastic price, if you are a member!

You're still not a Costco member? :P
