Videowave won't open

Ever since I installed Creator 2010 I have been unable to run videowave12. Even after a clean install the program refuses to stay open.

 

Every time I run the program it opens then immediately closes with no error, none of the other programs do this. I'm guessing it is either XP 64 or video settings.

I am also having the same kind of issues. Just bought new software yesterday and am getting "Video Wave 12 has stopped working" messages. Have also spent hours looking for a fix with no luck...

Yup, I have the same issue. My issue is VideoWave12 refuses to work properly under a roming profile user account in a domain environment. I have to RunAs "Administrator" under my local administrator account before it start to work. Otherwise I get the VC++ virtual function call error.

It doesn't actually appear as videowave12 but that is the only version installed.

 

from the Creator 2010 home page it opens roxio videowave splash screen, then you can see roxio videowave in the titlebar as it flashes up before closing
