Question

Hopefully a quick question?

In PhotoSuite I save most of my Photo's in .jpg format. Having recently looked at the options on save, I do not understand the difference on the Interlacing option where you can choose yes or no.

What is the difference between the two options?

Thanks in advance

From Photosuite's help file:

JPEG save options

General

Interlacing: Set Interlacing to Yes to have the photo display as low-resolution versions in a browser while the full image file is downloading. Interlacing can make downloading time seem shorter and assures viewers that downloading is in progress. However, interlacing also increases file size. If this is a concern, select Non-interlaced.
