Creator 2010

Question

I am a new user of Creator 2010. I've downloaded over 200 pictures and want to create a video I can then burn to a DVD to view on my TV. When I first began adding text to each picture, I had no problem. Now, however, whatever I add as text on one picture is carried over to the next. If I delete it from the second picture, it is also deleted from the first. I've tried adding text in both the Storyline and Timeline feature, but the same thing happens in both. What am I doing wrong?

2nd question: Can I insert blank screens between the photos on which I can add titles for each section of the video?

Thanks for any help..

Put the text, for each picture, on the internal track, in Timeline view.

When you add text to a slide you must allow the slide enough time for the text to be read. Just increase the time of the slide with the text and the text will not run over into the next slide.

I find it easier to create a slide with text in another photo editing program and then insert the slide with the text on it. I use Microsoft Editor 2006. Hope this helps.

As I said, I'm new to Creator 2010, and I'm not sure what you mean by putting the text on the "internal track". Can you explain how I do that?

Thank you.

Actually, do it in Storyline view. In the Production Editor, click on the photo that you want to add text to. Then, click on the Internal Tracks tab, at the top of the Production Editor. Then, click on the text icon at the top of the Preview screen, and edit that text, in the Preview screen. You can edit the size of the text, font, or whatever you want to do. You add motion, and a number of other things, if you click on the More Setting icon, to the far right, at the top of the Preview screen.

After you are done, click on the Done button on the left side of the Production Editor screen. The text will only be seen on that photo, and the text will move, with the photo, if you decide that you want to rearrange your photos, in your production.

I appreciate your help. That seems to be working. Thank you.
