Need Help To Burn A CDS

I have a new eMachine computer, running Windows 7. I need to burn a CD, to send to my publisher. Easy CD & DVD BURNING kept asking me for an appendable CD. I'm using CDs right out of a new strack. I finally got things to go by pressig the big orange button at the bottom. However, Easy CD & DVD BURNING worked for about four minutes and then told me that there was an error. I gotta get a CD burned. HELP!!!

What version of Easy CD & DVD BURNING do you have.

 

If your trying to burn a data cd try using the built in burning capabilities built into Windows 7.

In Roxio open the Home application and then Help>About this Software ( http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=23296 ).

 

 

Windows 7,go to Start then open Help and Support, then type "make a CD" (without the quotes) into the Search.

Roxio will at least make an attempt to write the disk, but fails. Windows 7 won't even admit that there's a disc in the drive. Any ideas?

Again, "what version of Roxio do you have"?

 

Can you play a commercial CD?

 

You have tried 2 different software and it does not work.....does your computer have a CD writer installed? Maybe you only have a CD-ROM.

The box says, "DVD+-RW Super Multiformat Dual Layer." The +- signs are stacked on the box, however, I can't do that.

Following instructions is not your thing…

 

You have been asked twice for the Version number and even told how to find it!

 

Yet every answer that follows the questions you completely ignore answering the question and come up with something completely unrelated to the question at hand???

 

I really do not see how it is possible to help you under those circumstances…

 

Do you have someone who has a little PC knowledge that can help you compose some better answers? Maybe then we can assist you better.
