lost my box with serial # on it

please can anyone help me I purchased ROXIO VHS TO DVD from a local staples store here in maine back in july of 2009 since then I have moved and lost my box with the serial # also having to reinstall everything on computer I now can not reinstall this with out the serial # I have contacted the store but no help from them they said contact roxio support no help with this either is there a way to retrieve the serial # from the original disk itself ? is there a hidden file I can locate or another way .. please help I have a ton of home movies I need to get converted

Did you register the product with Roxio? If so, login in the link below and check if it has the cd key.

no I never registered the first time I installed it I figured I would always get back to it and never did

Then you are out of luck…

 

You had the DVD sleeve in your possession and you had one backup by registering… Be glad it was only $60

 

If your PC meets the specs, consider Creator 2010. It has all you had and a lot more AND it will run the USB Capture device!!!

You could contact Roxio Support and provide with P.o.P and see what they have to say.
