blue time marker frozen

After a computer crash, Windows 7 was installed. I then installed Roxio 2010. I use the sound editor a lot, but it is seriously mal-functioning.

The blue marker does not move. I only know where I am by watching the bar at the bottom of the screen. I can clip on the track and the blue marker will move to that position and stay there. I can't edit (let's say I want to cut the end) except by guessing at the point using the bottom bar as a guide.

Should I re-install?

Maybe but try a couple of things first…

 

MAKE SURE your Video Card drivers are up to date and Win7 compatible!!! Don't trust Win7 to do this for you, go to the site and see what is available.

 

From Add/Remove Programs; Roxio; choose the Repair option

 

Lastly Clean Install – Vista/Win7
