audio/video sync

I've successfully created several movies from my AVCHD video camera in IMOVIE. They work great and the audio/video are synced (when i play in Itunes). When i open toast 10.04 and create an actual AVCHD on a DVD the audio is not synced with the Video (when i play it on my blu ray player). I've looked in the forums and can't seem to find an answer. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I have a similar problem. I made a Blu-ray disc containing a 25-minute, 720p24 high-def movie. The original movie was in a Quicktime file and audio sync was perfect. However on playback of the disc the audio runs about 0.5% fast. That is, by the end of the movie the audio is 8 seconds ahead of the picture.

I don't have any first-hand experience with what you're creating. However, it may be a resampling issue if Toast is trying to convert 44 khz audio to 48 khz or vice versa. What are the audio settings used by the camcorder?
