Audio Problem

klewis

Question

I am having the same problem. Sounds good on tape, but when transferred to computer, sound is iffy... sometimes good, sometimes slow, especially for the person talking behind the camera or an instrument. My daughter was playing the piano, her speech was clear, but the piano sound was horrible. Any suggestions?? It's not constant, but often.

Don't keep posting the same question in other peoples threads, it is rude like butting into someone's conversation on the street…

List your PC specs like I have in my signature. Particular attention to Video and Audio cards.

Check your program Help – About to make sure "SP2" is in the version number.

Read through these, carefully!

cdanteek's

USB Capture

Plug & Burn

For testing, try using Capture Audio from Sound Card part of the program on some of those spots you are having trouble with… I want to get the Video part out of the equation and see what pure Audio can do!

Also watch the sound level bars during audio capture. If they spend a lot of time in the Red Zone, your recording level is too high and the signal is being clipped.
