Question

I have a Dell 518 Inspiron runing Window Vista Ultimate. Roxie Creator 2009 is my primary drive soft- ware. I want to capture my VHS videos to transfer them to DVD. I have the capture device. I also bought the VHS to DVD Software. I was told by support not to intall it if I had Creator 2009, because all I needed to do what I want was already in Creator 2009 Ulitmate. I have yet to realize that.

Can someone that has sucessfully capture VHS tapes with Creator 2009 Ultimate and movd them to DVD tell me how it is done, or direct me to a set of useful instruction to do so.

Thank you.

You can use either Media Import or MyDVD.

In Media Import you need to set the capture device to the one you have.

In MyDVD if you go to File and then hit Capture/Import it will open Media Import.

Capture the video and then add the file into MyDVD to add menus,music,etc...and to burn the disc.

I don’t think you understood Support correctly…

I’ll bet they told you Not to install the V2D Software, as you indicated. And that is correct, it will destroy 2009 and itself so that nether will work!!!

However, you must install the Drivers for the USB Device or it will never work!

Download and run this file – Here

Then read through this post for some ideas on how to capture with the device. USB Capture"
