Toast Video Editor Frame Selection

Is there any way to control just how fine "Fine" is when editing Tivo files in Toast Video Editor? I figured out how to set and adjust the Trim markers, but the "finest" resolution for setting them seems to be about 1 second. I read an older article suggesting use of the arrow keys, but that did nothing.

Is there any way to get a finer resolution when editing Tivo files?

Toast can only edit on the key frames. Those are the frames that have the complete picture information rather than the frames that refer to an earlier frame for part of their information. It's the nature of MPEG compression. There is another application that can do frame-accurate editing of MPEG 2 video files but I doubt if you want to spend another $70 and go through several additional steps. If you do, look Capty MPEGEdit EX.
