I have been told by a company I purchased an external burner from that the full retail version of EMC 9 will not work on W7, but the bundled slightly stripped down version shipped with the burner will work. Anyone else have a bundled version that is working fine for them

:lol::lol::lol:

Something funny about my post????????? I did not post anything funny, I replied to a post with info I was given by that company! They installed W7 on a few of there PC's and have had no problems, I have dealt with this company for a few years now and any info they have given me was correct and I will confirm what they have told me.

Sorry for the funny Icons, but have you actually tried the stripped down verion in Win 7 64 bit to confirm it actuall works with all the included programs ??? If yes, I apologize. If not :lol:

I still have Creator 2009 running on Windows 7 32 and 64 bit. I did a hard drive format and then installed Windows 7 and updates. Then I installed Creator 2009 before any other piece of software. It worked for me.

O.K. Dave. I'll go with that. But I don't know how the heck you did it ?? You're one of very few that managed it. Especially on win 7 64 bit

Read the post again - he is talking about EMC 9 not Creator 2009 :blink: iamadaywalker posted in the wrong forum

"their" would be the correct word in the context...

BTW, Roxio 9 is *not* certified to run under Windows 7; use at your own risk! ;)
