Video Copy And Convert

Hello there i hope you can help me.I have 2010 Pro and im having a problem with my copy and convert feature,every time i try to trim my project and i move the slide bar the program freezes up and i have to go to the task manager to end it and then,, I will of lost my project ,and this is happening since i bought the product 2 weekes ago.i have all the updates for the software. should i return it Please advise.

For a test, let's try a different program in the Suite.

 

Use Edit Video-Advanced (VideoWave) load the video then right click it and select Trim.

The OP never came back so I don't know if what I suggested worked???

 

Why don't you try it and let us know?

 

You have a 1 1/2 hour movie for a source, what size to you expect it to be when it is done? What is the format of your source file?

 

I will give this a try today and see what I can produce.

I did one as close as I could get to yours and used the same settings (default).

 

I ran it on 2010 w/SP1 as well as 2010 w/o SP1 and on Win7 as well as XP! The results were the same for both:

 

83 min 56 sec movie = 252 MB files for iPod…

 

I suggest your source is corrupt or your install needs Repair.
