So when i am trying to burn a dvd movie with external Greek subtitles the program does not take the subs. I have also perian 10.4 and i have tried with submerge and reelbean application in order to incorporate them in the movie. I want to mention that the subs appear normally when i use any media player On my Mac. the problem exists only when i burn a dvd. tsantee
Toast will not include the subtitles when it has to encode the video for video DVD. Toast's encoder only supports creating a video stream and a two-channel audio stream. I don't know what will do this on a Mac other than Apple's Compressor (part of Final Cut Pro) but you may check with users of ffMPEGX to learn if they have a solution. theoldarchiver
I have also perianPlease note that Snow Leopard's QuickTime X doesn't take third party components like Perian. To utilize those components, you should install QuickTime 7 alongside QuickTime X. Do let us know if this brings back Perian .srt subtitle rendering on Toast conversions, like before 10.6.x.
