No track or CD title

Herkdriver

Question

I have burned several audio CDs that consist of captured LPs, and have typed in all the data including track title, album, artist, date, etc. Before burning I have checked the box "Add CD-text to Audio CD" and in all cases the CD, when played with Windows Media Player, shows Unknown Artist, Unknown Album and the tracks are simply numbered, no titles. Am I missing something?

I am using Roxio Creator 2009/SP4, Windows XP Pro/SP3, Pentium Dual Core 3.2 GHz processor, 2GB RAM.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you might be missing the Plug-In that allows WMP to display the "CD-Text". WMP itself it doe not have that capability.

Few players use and display CD Text written on CDs. Windows Media Player won't show this information without a special add-on being installed.
