direct transfer to DVD

Does anyone know if there is an option to just directly transfer video from my digital camcorder onto a DVD without first downloading the video onto my computer? I had an older version of roxio that had this option but I am not seeing this on roxio 2009. Thanks

Click on the icon, on your desktop, then click on Video-Movies, on the left side. Then, click on Plug and Burn, under Import.

 

I would highly recommend capturing to your hard drive first, though. With plug and burn, one little tiny hiccup in communication, among the camcorder, computer, software, and DVD burner, will result in a coaster.

And you get to start from scratch… Really can't recommend P&B to anyone.

 

Other things against it… If you don’t have the Roxio Video Capture USB or a compliant camcorder (one that hooks up with a Firewire) it probably will not work!
