I'm having problem operating my video usb device to my Creator 2010 software. I even repaired the installation, but I still get the same problem.

Can anyone out there help me out?

Thanks!

You will first have to tell us what kind of problems you are having. At the moment your post is very vague. Are you having problems connecting, launching the program, etc?

Creator 2010 won't recognize the USB at all. I tried putting it into different USB drives, as well as repairing the program. But, I still get the same result.

It is almost like you have raised 'beating around the bush' to an art form :D:lol:

Do you have the "Roxio Video Capture USB" device or are you talking about some other USB device?

If Roxio, plug the device directly into a port in the back of the PC – no extension cords…

Look at your Device Manager (Win-Pause) under Sound, video and game controllers. Looks like this:

What does yours look like?

It is NOT showing that under my Device Manager. Should I go ahead and uninstall it?

I am not 100% sure of it in 2010 because the drivers were included in the software for this version. (prior versions like 2009, they were separate)

Try this (you are the guinea pig):

Plug in the Device and from Add/Remove Programs, select Roxio 2010 and then pick Repair when it comes up.

Lets see if that will add the drivers.

Plan B: download This and run this program.

Try the Repair first!
