Roxio easy VHS to DVD hangs on Win 7 install.

Bought Roxio easy VHS to DVD and didn't notice that the box only stated compatible with XP and Vista. Have tried to install the software on Windows 7 but it fails. I got the USB capture device installed after some wrangling and reboots and have downloaded all service packs for the software but they won't install without having the primary software installed... How/where can I download the Windows 7 software... or how can I get my software disc to install so I can apply the patch... Feeling like I blew $60.00 for nothing....

The Win7 Certified logo is a bit subtle but you could try to see if the store will Exchange it for the Win7 certified version!

 

I got mine to run in Win7 but it is not certified for that and some claim my PC wears a halo and can do no wrong

 

You are welcome to try the steps I outlined and pinned to the top of this forum, but your First Solution would be an exchange.
