Help...Cannot open most functions?

Swagsong

Question

Most of the functions in Creator 10 have a little black arrow pointing upwards to the left of the icon. When I click on the icon, it looks like it's going to open, then fades back to a normal with nothing opening. I have tried opening them from the program itself, and from the Start menu with no luck.

I have a P4, SP3, full Windows updates, 512 RAM etc.

I have installed SP1 for Creator 2010.

My copy is fully registered with Roxio, yet I can only access only the most basic of functions.

Any ideas? Many thanks.

Steve

I don't know what you are trying to open, but that 512 MB of RAM is good for burning data or audio discs, and that is all.

What about your other systems specs? What processor do you have? What video card/chip do you have?

Hi Bruce, thanks for your help.

I was trying to open the label creator after successfully burning an audio cd. I'd be surprised if memory was the cause of my problems.

Here are some system specs:

1.80 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4

NVIDIA Vanta/Vanta LT [Display adapter]

Intel® 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio Controller

Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device

Maybe my processor is too slow??? Thanks again,

Steve

Your processor is too slow, and your video chip may not let you even do any work with the Label Creator. It should, but it doesn't look like it is going to happen.

Maybe go to NVidia's site, and see if there is an updated driver for that chip.;
