MyDVD Hangs While Encoding

I am having trouble burning .avi clip to DVD using Creator 2010 sp1 on Win 7 64bit. I have experence with other versions of the software on other Windows OS's. After I get the project together and start the burn, it hangs during the encoding process. It gets to random points varying on file being burned. I have tried several different files. Could I be missing a codec or somthing from my Win 7 install? I can play all the files with no problems on the PC. I have never encounter this issue before.

Xvid & DivX format are no longer supported…

 

Would these AVI be one of those perchance???

 

You will have to use a 3rd party converter and in the future try to avoid them.

C2010 still accepts DivX (and propably Xvid) as input - you just can't output to those formats

Thanks for the info. Without the support, what would be a good tool to convert them to a version that is supported?

Honestly I do not!

 

Google it but stick with someone like CNET so you don't get more than you bargain for
