How to Edit capture results

I am new to VHS DVD software.

What I would like to do is capture unattended a whole tape from my video camera tape (1 hour long). Then I would like to edit the end result of the capture to remove rubish bits, and also to breask the 1 hour capture into several smaller clips to make it easier to navigate when I make a DVD.

I would be greatful if any of you more experienced users could share your tips on how to achieve this.

thanks in advance

Click on Capture – set the time – walk away.

When you get back, click on Edit.

Try a short one first, like 5 minutes, to make sure everything is working correctly.

While you are out, get a disc or 2 of DVD RW so you can use that to Test and experiment with. Do not try to do full length captrures and burns right from the start. Learn and make notes on how things work.
