Back in the days of EMC9 a lot of issues were helped by disabling various services.

 

Are there any I need to disable when using 2010 Pro?

Need to -- no; but as with previous versions, Roxio Watch Tray is still a bother. And unless you are going to use it, the Burn application is also a bother at times. To disable, just uncheck the burners you have an it will be available but will not pop up every time you do something with the burner.

I assume its the Roxio Hard Drive Watcher 12 service?

Yes it is.

 

Also to uncheck the burners for Roxio Burn go to Start,Roxio 2010,Applications,Roxio Burn Options.
