toast 10.05, canon hfs11 and avchd

Question

Can some one help me create an AVCHD archive. I have the canon hfs11 and connected to my imac running toast titanium pro 10.05 via usb and connected via the "computer/printer" setting on the camcorder. Toast does not see the camera when I choose AVCHD archive.

Any help with the proper settings would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Andrew

Thank you or the reply, I had read that posting I think it is also in the manual- which I checked first. A search of AVCHD archives did not yield any clues. Toast does not seem to see the camera. I guess I was wondering if it was camera specific ie if anyone else with the HFS11 was having similar problems. For now I just used the archive feature in iMovie to back up the camera and used toast to create copies if this on DVDs. Better than nothing I guess.

I have the Canon HF11 (older model). I have made archive discs via SD card, but not directly from the camera. You can transfer your recordings from the internal memory to an SD card directly within the camera and then use a card reader connected to your computer. Hope that helps.

I don't have any way to experiment with this feature. Here is all I've found Creating an AVCHD archive with Toast 10

I presume you've browsed this forum for posts about AVCHD archives.
