How to ignore "no input signal" for VHS video capture

nqian

Question

Just bought Roxio Creator 2010.

The VHS video capture stops as soon as a brief "no input signal" (silent period on tape) is encountered.

My VHS tapes has many brief silent periods. This forces me to baby sit the whole

capture process. But with hundreds of hours of VHS taping time, it becomes an impossible

task to convert all of my VHS tapes.

Is there a way to ignore brief "no input signal", so the capture can be continued without

interruption?

No; capture with a third party application or with Windows Movie Maker. With WMM, convert the captured file ot one that Roxio can work with and do your editing with Video Wave
