Text wrapping for a custom menu style?

Sky Shark

Question

Hello. I am trying to design a custom menu style with a field which holds a lot of text for a show description. When I set up a multi-line field in Photoshop, using text 2 for example, Toast only sees the first line and cuts it off at the end of the line.

Is there a way to have Toast accept multiple lines in a text field (for a main menu layout)?

The Toast Menu Styles Design Guide (is there a version newer than 7?) doesn't provide any details.

I have examined the TiVO custom menu style, but that uses one line each of text 1, text 2, and text 3 underneath each other. It's a time-consuming kludge, but each single line will still cut off at its end and it's hard to know where the end will be unless you burn a disc.

How can Toast accept multiple lines in a text field? (If it can't, I'd like to request that for an update.)

Thanks!
