Easy Media Creator 10 Suite v. Creator 2010

I currently have the Easy Media Creator 10 Suite. I'm thinking of buying the Roxio Creator 2010. Will the Creator 2010 allow me to work with the projects that I made with the Easy Media Creator 10 Suite? In other words are these two softwares compatible?

I suggest finishing up all projects done in the same version they were created from. Current version is not 100% backward compatible with prior versions.

To add to what Jess said, they are not fully compatible.

 

Example: I was making a DVD and I tried to load the EMC10 created project into Creator 2010's MyDVD. It recognized the file, but none of the buttons of the six movies in the project were visible on the main menu in MyDVD. To the left, you could go to each of the six movies and play around with the chapters, but I could not get the main menu on MyDVD to show those movies.

 

So yes, complete your project.

 

P.S. You can have both suites on your pc at the same time, at least it is working for me....
