My Topic

I'm having the same problem. I upgraded the OS on my Dell XPS 420 to Windows 7 Professional and bought CinePlayer BD to replace an older version of PowerDVD that wasn't compatible with Win 7. Commercial DVDs play fine, but any Blu Ray disk I try to play results in the same error message, "The application could not read this copy protected disk. Please clean the disk, or try another disk." I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application to no avail. I changed the file properties to run it in administrator mode, and have changed the compatibility settings to attempt to run in Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista SP2 compatibility modes to no avail. I have also tried to turn off the hardware acceleration option. In any case, it will not play any type of commercial Blu Ray disk.

If anyone has other ideas on what to try, they would be deeply appreciated.
