I have the exact same problem I have tried to convert an AVI file to DVD in Video COpy and convert and it stops at 8%. I have tried everthing. I am waiting for a response from roxio customer service. This is extremely frustrating and I might return the software. I will post if roxio gives me any other advice. If anyone else has any other advice please help.

 

Could it be a problem with the windows 7 upgrade. I have had nothing but problems when trying to install or download any new programs ( frostwire, Vuze, Microsoft office and now Roxio) since the upgrade.

I hope not it is a brand new laptop purchased in october.

When it was obtained isn't the issue - you are running some very dubious P2P software so who knows just what nasties you have downloaded and installed on the computer
