Video Copy

Question

Hello Everyone!,

I am trying to copy a section from my Chrismas video that is already captured. The only way I can find to do it the help files is to make a copy of the captured video and then trim the sections out except for the section I want to keep.

Is there a way to copy a section of a captured video?

Thank you and Happy New Year!!

Have you tried to use scenes and just use the scene or scenes you want?

You could bring your Chrismas video into Videowave and split out the scene you want (split before and after). Delete the other scenes before and after your scene that you want to keep. Burn your keep scene to your computer making a .mpg file or burn to a DVD.

If you are wanting to insert the keep scene into another movie , in videowave, you can highlight/select the keep scene and control-C to copy, close videowave and open videowave (or new project from menu) with the video to insert. Then control-V to past your keep scene into the new video at the cursor point. Or if you burned the scene to the computer you now have a .mpg file of the scene that you can bring into videowave to mix with another video.

Remember, in videowave you are NOT changing your original file on your computer, you are just creating a new file from the old.
