I obtained a DVD+R disk, burned the slide show image file to it, and it plays OK in my DVD player.

Since the player will play DVD+R disks burned by ROXIO CREATOR 2010, I do not need to use the dual layer disks.

Thank you for the assistance.

DVD's burned with ROXIO CREATOR 2010 will not play in a SONY SLV-D360P purchased in 2005.

The DVD's play in my computer but not in the DVD player.

DVD's burned by NERO 9 play without any problem.

From the Home Page, Tools, Get Disc Information.

What does yours say where the red arrows point?

Your VHS DVD Player doesn't support reading DVD Dual Layer Media!

I wish they were all this easy... :)

I thought you hated it when something is posted without a link!

The manual page you posted is for two units, maybe someone made a mistake?

The manual says one thing the spec sheet say another.

The spec sheet I quoted is specific for 1 player, the OP's player (Marketing Specifications (For SLV-D360P DVD Player)

Roxio software won't book type bit set a DVD + R DL to DVD-Rom. Nero defaults + R media book type setting to DVD-Rom that could be the difference in playing and not playing! If you tell me your DVD Burner ID String (see below), I might have a work around, it won't be with Roxio Burn Software but it's FREE...
