So here's the story. I have a Thai language MP4 - g/f's from Phuket - and I was looking around for a translation/subtitles so we could both watch it.
Found some subtitles in .srt and via the wonders of Submerge, I managed to put the MP4 and subtitles together and save as a .mov file.
When I play the .mov file on my Mac, all looks and runs wonderfully. Subtitles are there, pic looks smooth.
But as soon as I Toast the .mov file as a DVD to play on a standalone DVD player, the subtitles go missing. Pic looks a little pixelated - although that may just be because it's on a much bigger screen - but I can live with that. But of the subtitles? Not a sign.

Anyone know a way out of this one?
