I purchased a new computer, Gateway and the clerk indicated that it would be easy to downloan DVD's and playback on a DVD player. That is one of the main reasons I purchased it. I agree it is easy in Windows Media Center but they do not play on the DVD player. Other DVD's play fine. So I went back to BB and asked a Geek squad member and he said purchasing Roxio Creator 2010 would solve the problem. I still have the same problem it will not play on the DVD player the DVD player attempts to read and after a minute or so says bad disk. The problem is either is not being able to change the file type or it is in finalizing the DVD. When the file type comes up no matter what I put it in it will not allow a change. So the DVD is burned and as usual it is a Data DVD. According to the instructions when the DVD ejects it is finalized. Also DVD's that I want to convert to the right file type DO NOTHING! Should it be this hard?
