Roxio Update Manager won't stop

I am having a problem with the Update Manager that it continuously pops up saying it is configuring itself. I tried to uninstall Creator 2009 and reinstall just to clear this up, but it keeps poping up and interfering with whatever I happen to be doing at the moment. How can I get this to stop?

Normally I would suggest a Clean Install – reinstall usually is a waste of time…

 

But before doing that I am curious if you are running a Reg Cleaner before this happens?

It is a common problem. There is a fix in this Kb article; scroll down to All Applications. Turning it off is the simplest solution. I doubt that there will be any additional updates for Creator 2009 now that 2010 is the current version.
