Can't Capture More Than 30 Seconds

I have the same issue with my Sony DV Camcorder. I can not capture video for more than 30 seconds. It just stops. Seems like a simple thing that Roxio should be able to fix.

 

I connect through Firewire and running Creator 2010 Ultimate.

 

Unfortunately, I need to use third party software. This is absurd considering the money I paid for Roxio

It has been a problem for a relatively small number of folks, in the past 5 or 6 versions of the software. It is doubtful that anything you do will solve your problem. I don't remember anyone, who has had that problem, actually getting it fixed.

 

The workaround is to babysit the capture, and keep starting the capture again, whenever it stops.
