Snow Leopard & Toast 1.0.5 & ImovIe 6.0.3

Gene38

Question

I recently updated my IMac operating system to Snow Leopard purchased Toast 10 & updated to 10.0.5. I tried editing and creating a movie in I-Movie 6.0.3, After saving the project I attempted to drag the file to Toast and it will not mount so I can burn a disc.(Video-DVD Video). I used to be able to do this with my previous system which included Tiger, Imovie & Toast 9.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Gene

If the iMovie project is in your Movies folder you can access the video within that project file by choosing Movies with the top button of the Toast Media Browser. Drag it from the browser window to the main Toast window.

Thankyou for your help Unfortunately the problem is still not solved. Whether I drag the file from my desk top or from the media browser the file will not mount in the Toast window

Any other suggestions

Thanks

found the same thing, no file made with iMovie 06 will load in to burn disk, Hope this is not a fact as this is the only reason I updated to Toast 10

i worked with tech assistance at Roxio today . As directed i removed all files of Toast 10 and Re-installed Toast 10. I did not load the updates & all appears to be working. I have processed two files made on I-Movie 6 and it appears to be working just like it did before I upgraded to Snow Leopard & Toast 10, The web sight listed below gives detailed instruction on how to fully remove Toast Titanium from your computer

Try trashing the Toast plist and prefs files in your User>Library>Preferences folder and relaunching Toast. Toast should be recognizing your video and I don't know why it isn't.

Tried what you suggested and still no luck

I will now try customer service

Thank you for your help
