Dual Layer DVD won't burn

mrvulcan

Question

I have Roxio 2010 Pro

I have been burning DVD's for the past week and got excellent help here on some issues I had,

Now I have another problem.

I have a large video (about 2 hrs) and it is saved in my production area.

I just got some duel layer dvd's and was trying to see how the DL would work.

Well I tried to do a burn and set the disk to 8.5 in the lower left corner. Well it gave me an error the disk was to small. I changed the disk size to 4.7 and it did the burn. All the video was captured but the quality was not so good. Also it did recognize the size of the dvd at 8.5. It also made an ISO file for me. My dvd burner is a DL burner.

Is therre some check box I need to check or something else I need to do for a DL DVD.

Thanks

Brian

I have the newest high performance computer that HP has. it is the elite 9290 and the disk drive is the TS-H653R. It is a DL drive and also has the lightscribe.

It sees the disk when I try and do a burn and even says how much disk space there is.

This is a strange problem????

Thanks
