I have made a wonderful DVD of Christmas & was just wondering is there a way to fade it away at the end rather than just ending it abrubptly. hog883
I still have no idea what steps you are taking , you seem to have an aversion to answering the questions asked This is the last time I am going to ask: what program from the C2010 suite are you using to create your project? Ok I open roxio 2010 pro. I go to video/movies capture the video. I save it when asked to. I then go to edit & transfer. I think the program it opens is called roxio videowave sorry if thats not the answers you are looking for but like I said I am new to this sort of thing sorry. Reg I count 51 possible things that you can click on but "Edit and Transfer" Is not one of them. Since you are a newbie, being precise is very important in order to get a usable answer. Did you click on "Edit Video-Advanced" (Video Wave) ? That is the correct application. Look at the top left to see what you opened/are using. We would suggest that you not use "Edit Video _automatically" (Cine Magic Assistant). By the way, you are probably capturing via "Capture Video" (Media Import) You can use the names in quotes or the names in parenthesis but not ones you made up. If you are using the names such as "Edit and Transfer" then you do not have the Roxio program !
hog883
Hi thanks again. From the home page after opening, Roxio creator 2010 Pro, third option down on left is video/movies, edit transfer is in that menu, sorry probably looking in the wrong place all together. I think I may have used the Edit video automaticaly when I first captured it, maybe I should start all over again. Cheers Reg

malatekid
Yes. If you use the Videowave (Edit Video-Advanced) program (one of the apps in Creator 2010), you can insert a black color panel and Dissolve transition (for fade in) before the image/video, and then add Dissolve transition and black color panel (for fade out) after the image/video. bimicher
Hi no I didn't I saved ot to my documnts. Reg PLease explain step-by-step what you are doing. Again what program from C2010 are you using to create the slideshow? It helps if you answer the questions asked. It doesn't matter where you saved but what did you save? I saved it at the end when asked if I wanted to save my project. I had edited it by putting a title at the start, now I just want to make th ending smoother, rather than it just stop. Thanks for sticking with me, this is my first go at anything like this, cheers Reg
