Getting VCR to connect to the computer

chiroruf

Question

I have a new computer with windows 7 professional and installed Creater 2010 and I want to copy my vcr tapes to a DVD. I have a USB hook up from my old Creator 9 that allows me to plug the red, white, yellow cords from my VCR into the USB but the creator 2010 does not show the USB as an input. What should I do???

I get the message that this update is not applicable to my computer. Is this because I do not have the Creator 9 installed? I have roxio creator 2010 installed. I had this creator 9 on the old computer I had... but I hesitate to put it in this one because it really screwed my other computer up and with creator 2010 I do not need it.
