Not able to burn to DVD-R?

Recommended Posts

I just bought Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning -"Originally called Easy CD & DVD Creator 6". I have an emachine T6420, Windows XP and TSSTcorpCD/DVDWTS-H552D.

I don't know what the problem is, I created it in DVD Builder, and have saved it to the hard drive. But cannot burn it correctly to a DVD. I'm using brand new DVD-R out of the package. It appears like it's working, then when I put it in my DVD player to try it, DISC ERROR!

I've been trying with and without the drag to disc.

Any suggestions, of where to go from here?

When I hit the “burn” button on the DVD Builder I can’t click anything, Destination, speed, I can save the project as “image file on hard disk” that's it,

So I saved it as a image file on hard disk, then drag & dropped from there....and nothing. It doesn't work!

Since XP has no ability to burn any DVD media, Drag and Drop is not going to work.

You have an ISO file at this point on your HD. It can be burned with Disc Copier or DVD Builder. (it can be done in Classic, but you really have to know DVD settings for it to work).

I could not find any info for the drive you mentioned. Is it capable of burning DVD 'dash' media? Some were made that only burn DVD 'plus' media.
