Question

Roxio 10

Transfered vhs tape to roxio using video capture device, went to burn on dvd-r and receivced this error message

The instruction at 0x62101431 refrenced memory at 0x083a8660.

Did the problem just start or have you been able to burn in the past? If you have been able to burn in the past, see if you can restore your computer to an earlier time.

Have you run a registry cleaner recently? I believe that message says something is screwed up in your registry.

File sizes mean nothing when it comes to creating video DVDs, i is the time length that is important. Considering that a standard 4.7GB DVD will only hold 60 minutes of video at best quality you will have to split your video over at least 2 DVDs. You can squeeze more on a DVD but at lower quality. At the price of DVDs I would put that captured video on 3 DVDs.

Thanks,

I will try and set up the time to less then 60 min, I am using Roxio creator special edition 10.

1) How long is the video that you captured?

2) Did you do any editing?

3) What application in EMC 10 are you using to burn the file to a disc?

4) Do you have a DVD burner?

5) Please post your computer specs and operating system.

6) What are you doing (exactly) when you get that message?
