My Burnt DVD Audio and video are out of sync.

Question

Hello!

I Just got done burning a movie I made in Windows Moive maker on DVD and watched it back to find that the audio and video are out of sync.

But the saved movie file when watched on my computer plays fine.

It was saved as a High quality Video (HTSC) because I dont have enough space to save it as DV-AVI.

Ive been looking up ways to fix this problem all day and thought id give this a try! Is there can i correct this? After editing this thing for days Id hate to see it just stuck on my computer.

Thanks!

Are you asking if Easy Media Creator will fix an out of sync condition or are you saying you get an out of sync movie using one of the Roxio products?

A lot of out of sync problems are caused by 1) computer not up to the task 2) Other programs running in the background (including anti-virus, anti-malware, active connections to the internet, etc.) 3) too much garbage on your computer with a badly fragmented low free space hard drive. 4) rendering and burning at the same time so that you CPU is overstressed and can't keep up. (tied in with 1 but slightly different fixes.)

There is no magic solution.

Thank you for the reply. I get an out of sync movie using one of the Roxio products. Maybe I will try to shut down some programs and free up some space. But Oddly enough I just burnt another copy and the aduio is out of synce in the same spots. So maybe its the file. Even if it plays okay on the computer.
