MD5 Hash Values of Installation Files

Pleonasm

Question

To ensure that the download worked properly, can a member of this community kindly post the MD5 hash (128-bit) values for the three installation files for Roxio Creator 2010 Pro:

  1. RoxioCreator2010Content_HV13AXD0SQA.exe
  2. RoxioCreator2010Pro_HX19A010R14.exe
  3. RoxioCreator2010ProDisc2_HW00H011C04.exe

Thank you.

I don't think I've ever seen the MD5 hash values published.

Actual byte lengths of the files should be:

1. RoxioCreator2010Content_HV13AXD0SQA.exe 1,098,510,336

2. RoxioCreator2010Pro_HX19A010R14.exe 1,141,624,832

3. RoxioCreator2010ProDisc2_HW00H011C04.exe 355,158,512

If you wished, you could open the file with WinRAR [they're all executable archives] and TEST the archive.

Regards,

Brendon

You have asked a lot of questions primarily with EMC 9. Do you now have Creator 2010?

Why don't you ever come back and respond to some of the suggestions to tell us if they worked? No it is not a requirements but just common courtesy.

Brendon, thank you for the helpful suggestion. Using WinZip 14 Pro, I was able to open each of the three .EXE files and execute the “test” operation to check their integrity.

Additionally, I have asked Roxio Technical Support to provide the MD5 hash values -- and, if they supply this information, I will post it here so that others may benefit.

Alternatively, if a member of this forum community would be willing to do so, the MD5 hash values can be easily computed by running the free Microsoft File Checksum Integrity Verifier (FCIV) utility (available from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841290).

Sknis, yes -- I recently purchased Roxio Creator 2010 Pro, and plan to install it in the near future (and will seek to do a better job of return to this forum to update threads).

'k Pleonasm, here they are. Filename followed by MD5 hash value. Can't separate 'em by more than one space - this BBS software is too limited. I still think the use of MD5 hash after an integrity test by WinZip is pleonastic in itself. :)

1. RoxioCreator2010Content_HV13AXD0SQA.exe 54f79ebb13609ea8b4218be07442a277

2. RoxioCreator2010ProDisc2_HW00H011C04.exe 261d69048c295576c5238daa2a3ee0b2

Brendon, thank you for taking the time to compute and to post the MD5 hash (128-bit) values of the three .EXE installation files for Roxio Creator 2010 Pro. I trust that others in the forum community will find this thread and benefit from this information, too.

I have used WinHex on my PC to compute the MD5 hash values, and the values that I have obtained exactly match those you have generated. Thus, the integrity of the download of these large files is ensured.
