cadolfan Posted January 8, 2010 Report Share Posted January 8, 2010 I keep getting an error when closing the program unable to close program. i get directed to roxio support site to download and run RcEngineDLL.exe but I get a launch error "Could not start the run setup". Is it Easy Media Creator 10 (2year old version ) or Creator 2010 (latest versions). What computer do you have? If it is Easy Media Creator 10, do you have the latest updates? Check your version number. I'm assuming that you got the download from the Kb article. Do you see the same error messages? If not, perhaps that isn;t your problem. Try manually extracting the file to a folder and then run from there. Skinks thanks for your reply. I fixed it. I have EMC 10. I did try to run manaually but it didn't work. What had happened is I initially installed from my CD then I ran the update from the support site. I thought that would fix it but it didn't.
