2010 Applications

john moss

Question

New pc with Windows 7 home premium. Tried to install 2009, no indication that it was not suitable for 7 until after the event. Uninstalled with programs remove. Installed 2010 Pro. seemed to go smoothly. Seems I should have done more. Many applications in 2010 will not start. Where could the problem be?

Thanks JM

You may have to turn off your firewall.

I mangled the first link but it's OK now.

Thanks for that info.

Been through the clean install process for 2010 on Windows 7. Initialy most applications would not start. Now seems to be just a problem with audio capture and digitize vinyl and tapes. The applications start but a problem arises and they have to close.

Shown as:- Runtime error Program:C:\Program Files (x86)\Roxio2010\AudioCore\AnalogRec12.exe R6025 - pure vital function call.

This program is terrible - I am not a computer programmer I just want to load it and use it not mess about for hours with Sonics poor product.

Regards

It is also probably the most complex program you own!

You may have to do the Clean Install another time but you might get by using the Repair Option from Add/Remove Programs.

Give that a try.
