videowave stops working when burning avchd

Question

I have a HP Machine (i7 processor 920@ 2.67ghz, 6G ram, 64 bit os ) recently upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista. I Also upgraded from Creator 2009 to 2010 that was downloaded from Roxio website. Anytime I try to burn using the AVCHD option with 2010 I get a Videowave not working message shortly after the rendering process begins. I have tried going directly to DVD and to file. Both cause Videowave to stop working. I can usually burn a regular project that is not in HD. I sometimes get videowave to quit working when using the advanced editing. I was hoping that upgrading to 2010 would solve the problem that occured frequently while using 2009. What can I do?

I tried to run repair but a message that BurnMgr.mst could not be found "feature trying to use is on a network service that is unavailable". I also got the message that I needed to close "Com Server wrapper for VxBlock DLL" Only the install/uninstall window was open. Where would I go to find the Com Server. I also did a program and files search for the BurnMgr file but nothing was found.

I am using 2010 pro and have the installation/zip file downloaded from the website. One interesting thing that occured when I tried to download the program was that when I double clicked to install, Adobe Elements install would begin. I had downloaded that to try it out. I uninstalled the program and then it brought up Creator 2010 to be intalled.

Find your Creator 2010 downloaded files, and burn them to a DVD. Then clear your temp files, reboot, and try to install from the DVD to which you burned your Creator 2010 files.

Your Adobe Elements install .exe is probably still in your temp folder. If you haven't already burned that Adobe file to a CD or DVD, do that before you dump the temp folder.

I burned to a disk and and cleared the the temp files, rebooted and tried the install from the disk. I got the "need to close Com Server wrapper for VxBlock DLL" when trying the repair features file. I continued on and got the "cannot locate burnmgr.msi file" and couldn't continue. I closed out and tried again. This time I misread (in my impatient state) the uninstall for reinstall and ended up uninstalling the program. I attempted to reinstall the program and now get a "setup has detected that your configuration does not support any included products".

I still have and can open Creator 2009 on the computer. Hope I haven't totally messed things up.

You probably did mess things up pretty well and have to do a clean install, getting rid of all Roxio software. But, look at this, first:

One question regarding each article. First, I don't know how to access the setup.exe file to check the properties. I downloaded three files from Roxio for the 2010 Pro upgrade. When I double click the 2010 file it begins an auto unzip file and then an auto setup wizard. I am not sure how to find the setup.exe file.

Second, Is the downloaded files for 2010 Pro an upgrade dependent on 2009 or a stand alone program that will load without it?

Although I deleted the 2010, I still have 2009 on my upgraded windows 7 machine. It allows me to edit and burn regular dvds but will not finish or stops working on AVCHD projects. I understand that 2009 is not compatible with windows 7 and therefore I upgraded to 2010 to overcome the errors that kept popping up in 2009.

I bought this computer in July last year because I had to update my camera to a Sony HDR-XR200 AVCHD for a new underwater housing and went from Premiere 6.0 to Creator 2009 to deal with AVCHD. I was hoping to get a computer and a program that was powerful enought to deal with the video. I am hoping I made a good choice.
