Casey Jones
On fingers crossed fix you might try is to download and run this driver file – Here The only problem I can see is that if you let Windows install a driver it may not override that one… Casy: You don't even have the same PC and you should be starting your own thread rather than butting into one that has been started… Well my mistake! I was under the impression that this was a discussion forum. Certainly no call to respond like a jerk to an honest mistake!
Jim_Hardin
The install must follow the instructions precisely or it is not going to work! A good check is cdanteek's pinned post at the top of this forum, cdanteek's. While it is aimed at Vista, if you read through it and compare your Device Manager settings with the ones he has pictured, you will know where you stand. Casey Jones
Hi Humpo. Before I begin, I feel I should point out that Atilla The Hun knew more about computers than I do. Until recently I thought I.T. was a Steven Speilberg movie about a small ugly alien. Anyway, to the point. I run vista on 64bit. I have tried installing VHS to DVD and have come across the exact same issues as you seem to have met. No picture to capture, and a note saying 'No Signal'. I've checked the uninstal and the device manager, and the USB gizmo is definitely mentioned. In fact, I took all the advice mentioned on the string, but with no joy. I'm using the red, white and yellow plugs rather than the S-Video plug. Di you have any joy at all sorting it out on your end, and if so, how did you do it? Regards Casey
