How to install only specific components

Ram4

Question

This refers to Roxio Creator 2010 Pro

In earlier versions of Roxio, it was possible to install specific components only. For example If I do not want CinePlayer, I was able de-select from installation and it worked. I do not see any method in this new release. Am I missing something?

I can not change the install directory name in Roxio 2010, It always install on roxio 2010. In earlier versions I was able to select any name.

If I install Roxio 2010 in Vista Ultimate sp2 – it installs Roxio Venu and CinemaNow Media Player. However, if I install in Vista Business sp2, these 2 items are not installed. Why?

Roxio 2010 comes with Program cd, Program 2 (lightzone, soundsoap & sonicfire) and Contents. Does anyone know what contents include? What happens if I do not install contents?

It install some files under folder x86 and x64. If I am using 32 bit machine, can I delete folder x64?

Thank you very much

Vista Business, probably doesn't support the two programs...

Disc 1 is C2010Pro and content, Disc 2 is (lightzone, soundsoap & sonicfire). You don't have to install disc 2.

Did the same on my W-7 x64 Pro install. I wouldn't delete anything!
