Label Creator 2010 Cannot Open Project Just Saved - Out of Memory

I have just started using Label Creator 2010 and created a number of label projects for a backlog of DVDs. I needed to reprint some labels, so I attempted to open the projects just saved. Every single label project gives me the error message "Out of Memory" and closes down. A reboot didn't fix the problem. I am running Windows 7 x64, 8GB RAM, 2 x 1TB HDD with lots of free space. This makes the label creator pretty much useless if you can't open a saved project. Anyone able to help?

If you read the post correctly, you will note that the label project WAS created in Creater 2010 and cannot be open IN Creator 2010. I am full aware of the backward compatability problem - hence I upgraded to to EMC 2010, only to find it's broken with projects it creates too.

 

No problems here opening labels in C2010 that were created in C2010 so C2010 is not broken by its own project.

How much is "lots"? Do you have that hard drive partitioned? When was the last time you rebooted the computer?

 

Use CCleaner to get rid of the crap (TEMP and TMP files) on the computer and then defrag the hard drive with Auslogics defragmenter. Both are free.

 

Let us know if that clears up the problem.

It's also worth remembering that 'out of memory' errors stemmed in a lot of cases from a corrupt file (the EOF marker was damaged).
