Just want to convert all my VHS video tapes

Nawaz5

Question

I am very new to these things and therefore very confused. I want to buy a software like Creator 2010 but also want to make sure that all my VHS videos can be transferred to DVDs, and edited. I want to store them nicely. Some are 20 years old and I may lose them soon if I don’t convert them ASAP.

So please can someone advice me, in plain English please, which software I need to buy to perform this easily? I have used 'Videowave' before.

Thank you

Thank you everyone.

The problem is I am in the UK.

But i am sure we have Costco here too.

I wil lfind one or will buy this special edition from somewhere else.

Thanks again

However, do I still need to buy "Roxio Easy VHS to DVD" on top of Creator 2010 special edition? By the way my 'Videowave' is not working since I have moved to Vista. Hence, buying Creator.

To have a full Suite you need Creator 2010. Roxio Easy VHS to DVD is a cut down duplication of some of Creator 2010 apps. What you do need is the USB Capture Device with Creator 2010 and Costco's Creator 2010 SE is the only version like that made just for them..

Costco co. UK.

The best buy for this is a Costco only product Roxio Creator 2010 SE...

If you have no friends that have a Cosco membership and you want to do only a limited amount of editing, or if you have Video Wave on your computer (and it is working well), you can also look at "Easy VHS to DVD". Here is the price from Walmart although you may find it cheaper elsewhere. If you open the link, click on the video demo and watch the tutorial. This may tell you if this is enough or if you want more.

If you decide it is enough or if you are not sure, if you buy it directly from Roxio. you have a 30 day $ back guarantee.
